Investigative Health

My approach

I use personalised nutrition and functional medicine to
investigate, identify and address the root causes of health - both illness and wellness.

Instead of just treating symptoms, like using paracetamol for a headache,
I aim to prevent them from recurring by tackling their underlying causes.

I work closely with my clients and their healthcare team to integrate
physical, mental and emotional health as interconnected elements essential
for achieving vitality, resilience and healthy ageing.

My approach is grounded in evidence and empathy,
combining health coaching with practical tools to foster sustainable results.

Investigate

I conduct a thorough assessment, including your symptoms, health history, genetics, any lab tests and barriers to change to understand your unique health situation.

Identify

Using the information gathered, I pinpoint specific health issues and imbalances. This stage is key to distinguishing the unique factors underlying your health challenges.

Address

Armed with this knowledge, I will design a personalised strategy involving food and lifestyle changes, and supplements if needed, for optimal, sustainable health outcomes.

Areas of focus

My clinical practice focuses on particularly complex areas: Menopause and Mental Health,

where a nuanced understanding of interconnected body systems is fundamental.

Menopause and mental health do not occur in isolation—they often intertwine with other conditions.

Recognising this complexity, my practice welcomes clients with a variety of health concerns.

Each is addressed with a comprehensive approach that considers all interconnected systems of the body. No matter the condition, I apply the same depth of functional medicine insight to achieve

optimal health outcomes.

Menopause

Each woman's experience of menopause is unique. In navigating menopause, I emphasise the importance of personalised nutrition plans tailored to each woman's individual needs. By incorporating nutrient-dense foods, we can support hormonal balance and alleviate menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings and fatigue. Additionally, I use functional medicine to explore the root causes of hormonal imbalances and using targeted interventions to optimise overall health.

Mental Health

I employ evidence-based strategies to enhance your mental and emotional well-being. We nourish your brain as a physical organ that hungers for ample nutrients and energy. We also work together to develop effective stress management techniques, improve sleep quality and incorporate mindful practices that promote relaxation and self-care. By addressing brain health and emotional aspects, we can foster resilience, emotional stability and a sense of empowerment.
